    TEMPO is an invitation only, peer-to-peer organization in greater Madison that connects women leaders with diverse backgrounds and experience to support, advise, learn and create relationships with one another.

     

    Dedicated to shaping the climate and culture of our community by allowing future generations of women to succeed, TEMPO Madison continues to grow, adapt and change. TEMPO embraces the future, while staying true to its mission of encouraging the advancement of women in business, public service, academia and the arts.

     

    TEMPO membership is comprised of approximately 250 women in executive and leadership positions throughout the Madison area community.

     

    The women of TEMPO influence millions of dollars, manage thousands of people, mentor hundreds of youth, serve dozens of boards and are members of one organization.

     

     
    APPLICATION PROCESS

     

     

     

    The typical TEMPO-Madison member shares the following traits:

    • 10 years+ professional experience
    • 5 years executive level professional experience
    • decision-making responsibility for staff and budget
    • direct access to the organization's top executive
    • leadership in professional and/or civic organizations

    If you would like to suggest a friend or colleague consider TEMPO membership, a good place to start is by sending them the TEMPO Madison application so they may assess their desire to apply after seeing the form. Download here. 

     

    The Membership Committee reviews each potential member, requests more information as needed and recommends to the Board of Directors who should receive Membership invitation.
