FOR PROFIT BOARDS

Valerie has been a compensated member of the Community Investment Advisory Committee at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago since 2018, where she also served on its Diversity and Inclusion committee. She also is a Principal & Director of Johnson Land, a family partnership and trust.

NON-PROFIT BOARDS

Valerie has been a director of many non-profit boards over the past four decades. She was recently elected to the board of the seventh largest Rotary Club in the world, where she was already a director of their Foundation Board. She is on her local chamber of commerce board and recently finished officer board positions for UW-Madison’s alumni association for the College of Ag & Life Sciences (WALSAA) and the Wis 4-H Foundation.
